Attack of the PETSCII Robots 7800 Demo

Welcome to the demo release of Attack of the PETSCII Robots for the Atari 7800!

Refer to the included PDF demo manual for further information about how to play Attack of the PETSCII Robots on the 7800.


Playing the Demo
----------------

The demo rom (petscii7800demo.a78) can be operated directly on 7800 hardware using any supporting 3rd party cart hardware. Note: As the cart format for this demo rom is new, please refer to your cart hardware provider for further details to determine whether this demo will operate correctly. 

For those without the required supporting cart hardware, we have provided the A7800 Emulator (based on Mame) to operate the demo. Double-click on the Launch-NTSC.bat or Launch-PAL.bat files (depending on your requirements) to launch the demo. The included A7800 emulator currently runs on Microsoft Windows only.


A700 Emulator Controls
----------------------

On the demo title screen there is no need to change the controller selection from the default (Standard Controls).  Keyboard controls will be mapped to the demo as follows: 

Cursor Keys - Move direction (left/right/up/down) [player and menu items]
C - cycle between Move/Search/Item+Weapon menu options
Z - Fire (in direction selected if weapon available)
O - Level map
E - In-game menu (Select hero [Mike, David or Bruce], change the music and sfx volume)
T - Death (exit level)
P - Pause
